My PC is making a loud noise

Rattling, buzzing or clicking from inside the case.

4 stepsFrom our US support team

Usually a cable is touching a fan blade. It can happen when the packing foam comes out.

  1. Turn it off
Shut down, switch off the power supply and unplug the PC.
  2. Find the cable
Remove the glass side panel and look closely at each fan for a cable touching the blades.
  3. Move it away
Gently push the cable away from the fan, put the panel back and turn the PC on.
  4. Fans speed up while you play
That's normal. Leave a few inches of space around the vents, and keep the PC out of closed cabinets.
